We are happy to have a contingency of health care providers who have joined our mission to provide professional intepreting services to all patients who need these services. We are hoping to get more members who can give us the provider perspective, and work collaboratively with us in better serving these patients.

In an effort to reduce health care disparities related to language access the IMIA is conducting a survey on providers' perspectives regarding professional medical interpreters. This survey should take no more than 5 minutes of your time, is voluntary, anonymous and results will be reported only in aggregate form. The IMIA is now forming a Providers Division for providers who are interested in the issues of interpreting, cross-cultural communication and language access.

Please consider providing us with your input using our PROVIDER OUTREACH SURVEY. We value your feedback, and would be grateful if you took the time to respond to our survey questions in an effort to better understand your needs and to provide us with invaluable insight that will be most useful to our work.
